Three Lady Frogs receive degrees Saturday

Three former members of the Lady Frog basketball team received undergraduate degrees Saturday during Spring Commencement exercises held at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The class marked the largest number of TCU women's hoopsters to earn degrees since December of 2005.

Colorado State University women's basketball Head Coach Kristen Holt announced Monday that Natalie van den Adel has been admitted to Colorado State and has signed a financial aid agreement to join Rams' program. Van den Adel will join the Rams for the 2008-09 season, along with fall signee Meghan Heimstra from Silver Creek High School in Longmont, Colo., as part of Holt's first recruiting class.

Air Force seniors Alecia Steele and Jamie Davis took home team MVP honors Thursday night at the Air Force women's basketball team banquet. Steele took home offensive MVP honors for the fourth consecutive season and Davis earned defensive MVP honors. Senior Pamela Findlay earned the Falcon Award, freshman Raimee Beck the Attitude is Everything Award and junior Kim Kreke the Stength & Conditioning Award.

2008 Basketball Camps Announced

The BYU women's basketball program under two-time MWC Coach of the Year Jeff Judkins and his staff announced their 2008 basketball camp schedule.For girls ages 10-18 the BYU program has set two dates, June 23-26 and July 7-10. A Cougar Cubs Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 6-12 is scheduled for June 3-5 from 1-4 p.m., on the BYU campus.
